腦血管病引起癲癇發(fā)病率較低，預后較差，約60%的患者可以完全緩解，且復發(fā)率較低。但是天幕上腦梗死的急性期限生癲癇者預后不良，癲癇復發(fā)率高達60%。腦梗死急性期有癲癇發(fā)作者，其死亡率為30%。腦腫瘤引起的癲癇其預后取決于腫瘤的性質(zhì)、部位、大小及能否根治等因素;即使腫瘤被根除，但由于手術遺留的疤痕仍可成為致癇灶。
