除此之外，當患兒起病時，最初表現為由發熱誘發長時間的滿身性或一側性驚厥發作，其次主要以陣攣性發作為主，偶有單發性的局部肌陣攣性抽搐。那么在此階段常被診斷為熱性驚厥。一般情況來講，嬰兒嚴重肌陣攣性羊癲瘋1～4歲后患兒漸漸出現無熱驚厥，以滿身性和(或)散發性肌陣攣發作為主。平常發作時偶然識障礙，常產生羊癲瘋連續狀態，特別是在熏染發熱時。其實，40%的患兒有不典型失神，表現為失神連續狀態中歸并有陣發性的肌陣攣發作。46%的患兒也有簡單或巨大部分性發作，此中植物神經的癥狀比較突出。無軀干強直性發作。患兒發病后有舉行性精力活動發育倒退，特別是語言發育遲緩。
