專家解釋：癥狀往往分為簡單發作與復雜發作，簡單發作的患者一般會有身體的某個部位突然產生抽搐，之后會有視覺味覺等出現異樣，而且還有腹部疼痛癥狀的出現。

針對癲癇病早期癥狀，專家說，癲癇早期癥狀一般是突然動作停止、眼神空洞持續五至十秒鐘后驟然結束。癲癇病發作嚴重時患者還會有突然神志喪失的危險，甚至海洋的呼吸會出現暫停性的停止，通常還會有四肢抽搐，大小便失禁等現象的出現。

1、癲癇性眼球震顫，以眼球震顫為癲癇發作的主要或唯一表現。中醫傳統上把引起嬰兒眼球震顫原因癲癇稱作癇證或癇病，癲癇是后來的叫法。作為局灶性癲癇發作的一種表現，癲癇性眼球震顫是罕見的。

2、姿勢性癲癇，指反復發作并以一定的姿勢造型為主要表現的癲癇發作形式，常因額葉輔助運動區受累所致。

3、旋轉性癲癇，旋轉性癲癇是癲癇的一種特殊類型，臨床易與扭轉痙攣及其它一些精神性疾病混淆，造成誤診。本病臨床較少見，以反復的轉動性發作為主要表現。
