(3)酗酒：酗酒也是成人癲癇發(fā)作的病因，因為長期大量飲酒，可引起胃炎、胰腺炎、肝損害、心律失常、造血功能和免疫功能異常外，最主要的是神經(jīng)系統(tǒng)毒性，使體內(nèi)維生素b1缺乏，造成腦組織代謝障礙，發(fā)生腦萎縮，造成癲癇發(fā)作，還可能導(dǎo)致注意力低下，記憶力減退，甚至癡呆。急性乙醇中毒，可直接引起癲癇發(fā)作。另外酒后生事、打架斗毆或發(fā)生交通事故，造成顱腦外傷，可引起外傷后繼發(fā)性癲癇。

(4)腦寄生蟲病：隨著社會的發(fā)展，衛(wèi)生狀況的改善，腦寄生蟲病引起的癲癇有所減少，此病主要流行于我國華北、東北、云南等地。由于吃了被蟲卵污染的食物或水源，使蟲卵進(jìn)入體內(nèi)，隨血循環(huán)寄生于大腦皮層，引起癲癇發(fā)作。
