三、病因雙重性：癲癇主要是由遺傳因素和腦損傷所共同決定的，遺傳因素是癲癇發病的基礎，而腦損傷是發病的條件。掌握這一特征也是認識本病的一個重要方面。盡管不同的病人兩者作用的比重不一定相同，但作為癲癇的發病因素兩者都是決定性的，所以，做到“兩手抓”，是治愈病因雙重性的癲癇的關鍵所在。
