姿勢性癲癇病指反復發作并以一定的姿勢造型為主要表現的癲癇發作形式，常因額葉輔助運動區受累所致。典型表現為頭眼向一側偏斜伴一個或多個肢體姿勢性強直，常見面向側的上肢上舉，肘部半屈，似擊劍狀，同時意識多保留，部分有尖叫或不能說話。整個發作過程持續時間短。這種姿勢性發作一般不伴有陣攣性動作，但可向其他形式的發作轉化。
