癲癇病患者發(fā)作前一般都會出現(xiàn)肢體麻刺感和上腹部不適，被稱為癲癇病發(fā)作先兆。

癲癇病發(fā)作的預(yù)兆包括前驅(qū)癥狀和先兆癥狀。前驅(qū)癥狀是指在大發(fā)作前的數(shù)日或數(shù)小時，病人出現(xiàn)的全身不適、易激惹、煩燥不安、情緒憂郁、心境不佳、常挑剔或抱怨他人的癥狀。先兆癥狀是指大發(fā)作前數(shù)秒鐘內(nèi)病人出現(xiàn)的錯覺、幻覺、自動癥、局部肌陣攣或其它特殊感覺等，如看見運(yùn)動或靜止的光點(diǎn)、光圈、火星、黑點(diǎn)、一團(tuán)單色或彩色的東西等;味覺先兆：包括口中有苦、酸、咸、甜、膩等不舒適味道;嗅覺性：聞到難聞的氣味、如腥味、焦味等;聽覺性：兩耳嗡嗡聲、鈴聲、鐘聲等。有些精神運(yùn)動性發(fā)作也可出現(xiàn)類似大發(fā)作的前驅(qū)癥狀。

肢體發(fā)作：癲癇病患者在發(fā)作是常會出現(xiàn)肢體上的抽搐，同時伴有一些兩眼呆滯，頭暈惡心。嚴(yán)重過的還會出現(xiàn)全身的痙攣等等，有一些患者肯能癥狀比較輕微，如暫時的停止活動，面部神經(jīng)出現(xiàn)局部的痙攣，但是癥狀不明顯。

精神發(fā)作：患者會出現(xiàn)意識喪失，能夠感覺周圍人、事、物等變化，但是自己不能夠回應(yīng)。同時這些患者還會出現(xiàn)情緒煩躁、極其容易發(fā)脾氣，并且不能夠控制自己的情緒等。而部分癲癇病患者在癲癇病發(fā)作時，還會出現(xiàn)其他的一些意識障礙。
