2、精神運動性發作：精神感覺性，精神運動性及混合性發作。癲癇病的癥狀多有不同程度的意識障礙及明顯的思維，知覺，情感和精神運動障礙。可有神游癥，夜游癥等自動癥表現。有時在幻覺，妄想的支配下可發生傷人，自傷等暴力行為。

3、癲癇大發作：突然意識喪失，繼而先強直后陣攣性痙攣。癲癇病的早期癥狀常伴尖叫，面色青紫，尿失禁，舌咬傷，口吐白沫或血沫，瞳孔散大。持續數十秒或數分鐘后痙攣發作自然停止，進入昏睡狀態。醒后有短時間的頭昏，煩躁，疲乏，對發作過程不能回憶。若發作持續不斷，一直處于昏迷狀態者稱大發作持續狀態，常危及生命。

4、癲癇小發作：突發性精神活動中斷，意識喪失，可伴肌陣攣或自動癥。一次發作數秒至十余秒。腦電圖出現3次/秒棘慢或尖慢波綜合。
