4、病人不宜生育：癲癇雖有遺傳性，但對下代的影響不是百分之百的。一般說來，癲癇病人的子女只有5%發生率，因此他們是可以生育的。雖然我國法律未明令禁止癲癇病人生育，但從優生學的角度，病人比較好避免與驚厥閾值低的人結婚，病人應在病情穩定，基本控制發作后生育。
