3、緩慢增減用藥劑量?？拱d癇藥物的使用應先由一種藥物起，應該從小劑量開始，逐漸增加直至能夠控制發作為止。對頑固的、難以控制的癲癇發作，可使用兩種以上的小兒癲癇用藥。家長在給嬰兒更換新藥時，老藥不可突然停用，而應逐漸減量直至停藥。

4、單一用藥。大多數患者可用單一藥物治療而得到控制，抗驚厥藥聯合使用不會更有效，并常增加藥物的毒性，產生意想不到且無法解釋的抗驚厥藥相互作用，必須對協同用藥持謹慎態度，禁用同時使用多種抗癲癇藥物。
