同時研究還發(fā)現(xiàn)，癲癇患兒的年齡、癲癇的類型、癲癇的致病因素、病史等等對腦脊液異常并沒有顯著的影響。

癲癇發(fā)作引起腦脊液異常的原因可能是由于某些神經(jīng)疾病所致，而這些疾病的癥狀可能就是癲癇發(fā)作，或者說癲癇是這些疾病的初發(fā)癥狀。因此由于癲癇發(fā)作后出現(xiàn)腦脊液異常，患者一定要到醫(yī)院進(jìn)行徹底的檢查以排除其他疾病的可能。

一旦排除患有其他疾病的可能，確診為癲癇，就要積極治療，以免癲癇反復(fù)發(fā)作對患者造成嚴(yán)重的危害。對于由于其他疾病而引起的癲癇發(fā)作，的專家表示，這些癲癇屬于繼發(fā)性癲癇，如果要控制癲癇發(fā)作，就要積極治療原發(fā)性疾病。

特別是對于小兒癲癇患者，由于患兒還在生長發(fā)育，癲癇反復(fù)發(fā)作可能會給患兒的大腦造成一定的傷害，同時對患兒性格形成等等各個方面都有影響。因此專家提醒癲癇患者，一定要及早治療，這樣才能將癲癇的危害降到最低。
