1.不可擅自停藥癲癇病程長，需長時期用藥治療。許多家長怕長期用藥對患兒身體有損害，一見病情緩解，就自行停藥，結(jié)果導(dǎo)致病情反復(fù)、加重。其實治療癲癇的藥物并不會影響孩子的發(fā)育。如不繼續(xù)治療，不僅會發(fā)作更頻繁，還會嚴(yán)重?fù)p害高級神經(jīng)精神功能，出現(xiàn)智力、運動障礙或情感異常等。2.定期復(fù)查患兒用藥期間，需定期到醫(yī)院復(fù)查，注意藥物的毒副作用，定期檢查血常規(guī)、肝功能、腎功能。3.合理安排生活合理安排患兒的生活、學(xué)習(xí)，保證充分的休息，飲食不過量，飲水勿過多，避免睡眠不足及情緒波動。飲食上要定時定量，不要暴飲暴食;忌辛辣、咖啡及海鮮發(fā)物。4.注意安全患兒在服藥期間不能單獨外出，以防止交通事故發(fā)生。注意患兒安全，禁止單獨游泳及攀高，防止墜床或摔傷。發(fā)作時禁止強行服藥或進水、進食，避免用強力阻止患兒抽動，以免發(fā)生骨折和其他意外。5.發(fā)作急救a.不必制止患兒的發(fā)作或按壓患兒的四肢。b.患兒發(fā)作的時候，要有專人守護，應(yīng)立即用一雙筷子纏上布塞入上下牙之間，以防止咬舌致傷;解開上衣，將頭部轉(zhuǎn)向一側(cè)，以防止嘔吐物或分泌物吸入氣管引起窒息，必要時要及時將分泌物吸出。對于戴眼鏡的患兒，要立即將眼鏡摘下。c.驚厥后要努力使患兒放松、鎮(zhèn)靜.d.大多數(shù)患兒可在短時間內(nèi)完全清醒，如抽搐不斷，或15分鐘后仍未清醒，呼吸困難或身體受傷，則要撥打999急救電話尋求醫(yī)生的幫助。6.避免誘因家長要留心觀察，摸索規(guī)律，注意避免促成患兒發(fā)作的原因，如過度疲勞、情緒激動、睡眠不足、進食過量、高聲、強光、感冒等。尤其是幼兒，高熱抽風(fēng)的小兒轉(zhuǎn)為癲癇患兒的比例大致為25%。
