　　醒腦開竅”是國醫大師、中國工程院石學敏院士創立的獨特的針法及學術思想體系。醒腦開竅針刺療法”針對癲癇病病情類型多、病因復發和單一治療方式效果不理想的特點，把中西藥、針灸、儀器、經絡植入、食療等方式全面結合起來，形成了一套多元化的治療方案，對癲癇患者實施標本兼治。該療法通過經絡刺激，氣血運行，直接作用“致癇病灶”，刺激病變及受損腦神經細胞，同步利用現代中醫及其萃取精華激活并修復整個“致癇區”，從根源上有效治療癲癇。開辟了各類腦病治療的新途徑，極大的推動了中醫現代化進程。為推動中國針灸走向世界作出了巨大貢獻。
