1、植物神經性發作(間腦性)：可有頭痛型，腹痛型，肢痛型，暈厥型或心血管性發作。

2、失神發作：典型失神表現為突然發生，動作中止，凝視，叫之不應，可有眨眼，但基本不伴有或伴有輕微的運動癥狀，結束也突然。通常持續5-20秒，罕見超過1分鐘者。主要見于兒童失神癲癇。

3、失張力發作：是由于雙側部分或者全身肌肉張力突然喪失，導致不能維持原有的姿勢，出現猝倒、肢體下墜等表現，發作時間相對短，持續數秒至10余秒多見，發作持續時間短者多不伴有明顯的意識障礙。

4、肌陣攣發作：是肌肉突發快速短促的收縮，表現為類似于軀體或者肢體電擊樣抖動，有時可連續數次，多出現于覺醒后。可為全身動作，也可以為局部的動作。肌陣攣臨床常見，但并不是所有的肌陣攣都是癲癇發作。

5、全面強直-陣攣性發作：以突發意識喪失和全身強直和抽搐為特征，典型的發作過程可分為強直期、陣攣期和發作后期。一次發作持續時間一般小于5分鐘，常伴有舌咬傷、尿失禁等，并容易造成窒息等傷害。強直-陣攣性發作可見于任何類型的癲癇和癲癇綜合征中。

6、強直發作：表現為發作性全身或者雙側肌肉的強烈持續的收縮，肌肉僵直，使肢體和軀體固定在一定的緊張姿勢，如軸性的軀體伸展背屈或者前屈。常持續數秒至數十秒，但是一般不超過1分鐘。強直發作多見于有彌漫性器質性腦損害的癲癇患者，一般為病情嚴重的標志，主要為兒童，如lennox-gastaut綜合征。
