1、氯硝西泮：別名氯硝安定，用于肌陣攣及失神發作的輔助用藥，對于復雜部分發作也有效，不過對強直陣攣效果不好。兒童維持量按0.1~0.2mg/kg/d，分2次服用。為減少副作用，應從小劑量逐漸加量至維持量。

2、托吡酯：商品名為妥泰，為廣譜抗癲癇新藥，對于各類癲癇發作均有效，其中原發性或是繼發性全身強直-陣攣發作及單純或復雜部分發作效果尤其明顯;對肌陣攣、嬰兒痙攣也有效。兒童初始量為0.5~1mg/kg/d，逐漸加量至目標劑量3~5mg/kg/d，分2次服用。

3、拉莫三嗪：商品名為利必通，用于全面性發作、部分發作和難治性癲癇的添加治療，其中與丙戊酸鹽合用療效最佳;但對部分肌陣攣發作無效。兒童用量按3~5mg/kg/d，分2次服用。

4、苯巴比妥：又名魯米那，用于強直陣攣、陣攣以及強直和單純部分性發作，對于復雜部分發作療效差，對失神發作無效。兒童按3~6mg/kg/d，分2次服用。

5、卡馬西平：別名酰胺咪嗪，痛驚寧。用于部分性發作及強直陣攣發作，對復雜部分性發作效果最好，不過對失神發作無效。兒童按20~30mg/kg/d，分3次服用。

6、丙戊酸鈉：別名德巴金、抗癲靈，失神發作(包括不典型失神發作)為首選藥物;對全身性強直陣攣發作也有很好的效果。也可用于單純部分性發作、復雜部分性發作、肌陣攣性發作、失張力發作及嬰兒痙攣癥的治療，是一個廣譜抗癲癇藥。兒童每日20~30mg/kg/d，分2~3次服用。
