一、關于陽癇

癲癇患者癥狀：病發前多有眩暈、頭痛且脹、胸悶乏力、喜伸欠等先兆癥狀，或無明顯癥狀，旋即仆倒，不省人事，面色潮紅，紫紅，繼之轉為青紫或蒼白，口唇青紫，牙關緊閉，雙目上視，頸背強直，四肢抽搐，口吐涎沫，或喉中痰鳴，或發怪叫，甚則二便自遺。移時蘇醒，除感疲乏、頭痛外，一如常人，舌質紅，苔多白膩或黃膩，脈弦滑或弦數。

二、關于陰癇

癲癇病患者癥狀：發癇則面色晦暗青灰而黃，手足清冷，雙目半開半合，昏聵，偃臥，拘急，或抽搐時作，口吐涎沫，一般口不啼叫，或聲音微小。也有僅為呆木無知，不聞不見，不動不語，或動作中斷，手中物件落地;或頭突然傾下，又迅速抬起，或二目上吊數秒乃至數分鐘即可恢復，病發后對上述癥狀全然無知，多一日頻作十數次或數十次。醒后周身疲乏，或如常人，舌質淡，苔白膩，脈多沉細或沉遲。

　　隨著治療階段的推進，肌體的五腑六臟陰陽日趨平衡，而突然中斷用藥勢必會打破這個平衡，引起癲癇復發或持續狀態個別患者停藥中或停藥后復發者，應立即給予以往控制發作的劑量重新治療，必要時考慮延長用藥時間所以癲癇患者應嚴格在醫生指導下科學治療。另外，部分成人癲癇病人可以表現為精神異常性的發作或伴有各種精神障礙，所以家屬要注意觀察成人癲癇患者的異常精神表現與行為變化癲癇失神發作藥物治療
