為什么癲癇女性不能吃避孕藥?癲癇女性最好不要選擇口服避孕藥。避孕藥的原理主要是通過(guò)抑制排卵，并改變子宮頸黏液，使精子不易穿透，或使子宮腺體減少肝糖的制造，讓囊胚不易存活，或是改變子宮和輸卵管的活動(dòng)方式，阻礙受精卵的運(yùn)送，使精卵無(wú)法結(jié)合形成受精卵，常用的避孕藥物大多是由孕激素和雌激素配伍而成。

很多女性患者，為了避免癲癇病遺傳給下一代，便選擇了不要孩子，通常這類(lèi)患者采取一定的避孕手段，現(xiàn)在的避孕方式主要有兩種，一種是口服藥物避孕，一種是工具避孕。

降低其避孕效果，如果在癲癇沒(méi)有得到很好控制的時(shí)候，不小心懷孕了，那么對(duì)于胎兒和孕婦來(lái)說(shuō)，都是非常危險(xiǎn)的，因?yàn)橛械呐栽谌焉锲跁r(shí)候，有益于激素分泌的改變，女性癲癇就會(huì)較易發(fā)作，這樣本身對(duì)于孕婦本人來(lái)說(shuō)不僅傷害很大，而且對(duì)于腹中的胎兒來(lái)說(shuō)，也是致命的傷害。

癲癇女性不能吃避孕藥，是因?yàn)楝F(xiàn)在的口服避孕藥基本上都是激素類(lèi)的，激素類(lèi)的避孕藥吃了以后，一般的來(lái)講雌激素占很主要的位置，而雌激素會(huì)加重癲癇的發(fā)作。另外抗癲癇藥有一些;甘酶誘導(dǎo)劑;的作用，會(huì)使避孕藥的效果下降，造成避孕失敗!所以說(shuō)這兩者之間，抗癲癇藥可能影響到避孕的效果，避孕藥又可能加重癲癇的發(fā)作，這兩者可能都是要注意到的。
