癲癇的早期特征

1、泛發性強直痙攣發作

個案意識完全不清，且會跌倒在地上而易受到傷害;從意識喪失到蘇醒歷時數分鐘，四肢和臉部常出現無法控制的痙攣。

2、失神性發作

患童正在進行中之行為或活動突然停止，彷佛錄影帶被按了“暫停”鈕一般。通常在數秒或三十秒后，發作會結束。原來暫停的行為又可接續下去。有時發作中會合并眨眼、咀嚼的動作。

3、肌抽躍性發作

這種類型的癲癇發作較難以言語描述。舉例來說，若是我們冷不防被別人從背后大叫一聲而嚇了一跳，所產生的那種全身抖了一下的動作，就是一種全身性的肌抽躍性發作。

4、失張力性發作

可想像一個原本用線操縱的木偶，突然間線全部斷掉的情況。患童便像這斷線的木偶般，突然全身無力的倒下。

5、單純局部癲癇

上述的種類皆屬于泛發性發作，也就是發作時意識喪失，和患者說話時皆無反應。但是局部發作時患者的意識清楚，和外界的互動良好。而癥狀可以是一手或是一腳抽動，或部分的身體有奇怪的感覺等。

6、嬰兒點頭痙攣

通常是發生在2歲以內的嬰兒，在剛睡醒時或將入睡時，會有點頭的動作，類似在打瞌睡，不過通常都是連續十幾次以上，連躺在床上都可以看得出來，如果動作很大，也會合并軀干彎曲及兩手前伸。

　　酗酒也是成人癲癇的常見病因，因為長期大量飲酒，可引起胃炎、胰腺炎、肝損害、心律失常、造血功能和免疫功能異常外，最主要的是神經系統毒性，使體內維生素b1缺乏，造成腦組織代謝障礙，發生腦萎縮，造成成人癲癇發作，還可能導致注意力低下，記憶力減退，甚至癡呆。急性乙醇中毒，可直接引起成人癲癇發作。另外酒后生事、打架斗毆或發生交通事故，造成顱腦外傷，可引起外傷后繼發性癲癇。兒童癲癇病治得好嗎
