小兒癲癇藥物治療的誤區有哪些

對于家長來說，孩子的健康往往是最重要的，但是小兒癲癇卻是一種漫長而頑固的疾病，家長們往往關心則亂，在對小兒癲癇的藥物治療上往往會存在以下4大誤區。

誤區一：癲癇藥物副作用大拒絕服用

不少家長對服用抗癲癇藥物存在恐懼心理，認為這些藥物副作用太大，會導致孩子的肝腎功能損傷、甚至導致智力低下等，從而拒絕給孩子服用抗癲癇藥物。

其實，目前的抗癲癇藥物均存在著不同程度的毒副作用，但是只要患者在科醫師的指導下科學正確地使用，副作用是能夠得到很好控制和解決的。相反如果不用藥物治療，任由癲癇發作，反而會加重患者病情，導致智力下降，甚至在長大后喪失工作和生活能力。

誤區二：癲癇藥物劑量越大控制越好

不少患兒家長對控制孩子的癲癇發作的心情迫切，開始服藥時就自行把劑量用得過大或者把藥物的劑量增加過快，從而導致患兒的副作用發生率增加。

在臨床中，對于諸如苯妥英鈉、卡馬西平、妥泰、拉莫三嗪等藥物的初始劑量要從小劑量開始，不能把劑量增加得過快，一定要按照醫生要求緩慢增加劑量，爭取用最小的劑量達到最好的控制效果。

誤區三：癲癇藥物的劑量越小副作用越小

為了避免癲癇藥物的副作用，有些患兒家長往往自行減小抗癲癇藥物的劑量，殊不知這一行為會由于抗癲癇藥物劑量過小，不能有效控制癲癇發作，而達不到滿意的治療效果。

誤區四：癲癇藥物服用時間越短越好

有些患兒家長擔心服藥時間太長會對孩子造成各方面的影響，而在患兒病情好轉之后即停藥，反而導致了癲癇的發作。

抗癲癇藥物的療程是有原則的，一般口服抗癲癇藥完全緩解3~5年漸減服藥，過早停藥會增加復發的風險，且有可能造成癲癇難以控制。
